Konosuba Season 3 Release Date
Update: As of Oct. 17 there still haven’t been any new details on the new season of Konosuba outside of the May announcement that it is in production. We still know the third season of Konosuba is in production with the anime studio Drive, but that is roughly the limit of available information. Now more than ever it seems that full production of the main series will truly begin after the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World spin-off has begun airing, as it’s possible that had taken precedence, but that’s only speculation. For the time being, yes, fans are getting a third Konosuba season, but it is likely still a little bit off. While the first two seasons of Konosuba were produced by Studio Deen, Drive will be taking over the series. For those who maybe aren’t sure what this Konosuba show is all about, Crunchyroll explains the plot as: If you are wanting more of the Konosuba story, you could turn to the light novels from author Natsume Akatsuki. Between the first two seasons of the anime and the film, the first five books have been adapted. The series just wrapped up earlier this month, with the 17th volume getting published in English.
