Today Communication and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella; Microsoft has also invited many reputed and well-known expertise to the event of “Future Unleashed” as we have already discussed “Future Unleashed” in the previous post. This event as Future Unleashed will be held on November 6th as sense tomorrow. Tomorrow minister will likely address Microsoft Satya Nadella; after that, they will move to development meetings in remote areas to supply Internet connections.

Another main objective of this meeting is a key role with Microsoft’s aim to provide low-cost, effective Internet Broadband over remote areas as villages to reach the internet in the hand of every citizen in India. Microsoft uses white spaces over the technology to provide the internet; the White Spaces is a technology Microsoft company will use to provide internet. That technology is much less cost-effective, which means they will use those televisions which have been processed, underused or damaged. The technology will take chips and circuit boards to reduce cost and deliver low-cost internet to the village’s teenagers and young people. Report from Government officials that the WiFi range can reach up to 100 meters which is a much low distance, but with the new technology of White Spaces, the technology will enhance up to 200-300 MHz which can reach up to 10 KM from the main tower of White Spaces. The officials also said that every village is approx 100 km, which is also an average of km; hence if officials established towers at a distance of 10 km each, they might have to place 10 WiFi zone in one particular village, which can be managed for time. Microsoft with the key discussion with leaders, developers, programmers, enterprise heads, and entrepreneurs. Microsoft team already invited Future Unleashed about 3000 leaders among the above; previously, Microsoft told the Indian Prime Minister when Narendra Modi visited Silicon Valley to meet with all the tech giant leaders in the world and meet with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. They both have discussed providing broadband connectivity to 500,000 villages in India.
